What is a Taverna Night?
There are many types of eating establishments in Greece, but none are as iconic as the taverna. Tavernas differ from a typical restaurant in many ways but the primary difference is that they are enjoyed in the evening and often involve entertainment, dancing, food and drinks. While a restaurant is simply a place that you eat, a taverna provides not only food, but also a good time. A Taverna Night is a night dedicated to bringing the spirit of a traditional Greek Taverna to our Church. It is going to be an exciting fund-raising event with food, drinks, live music and Greek Dancing!
