The depiction of Jesus in this mosaic is a portion of the holy icon of the Second Coming. The Second Coming is a holy painting which depicts the end of the present world, the Second Coming of Christ, the resurrection and the Last Judgement.  The original painting is in the Narthex of The Catholikon of St. Stephen’s Monestary in Meteora. This mural is currently on display in the Narthex of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.
